Mouthfuls in the News
We can't thank Denver's media outlets enough! They've done a wonderful job keeping the pet food recall issue in the forefront of everyone's minds and alerting the public of the latest recalls. This media coverage has featured our store many times, due to the fact that we have not had anything on the recall lists. We are more than happy to assist the media in any way possible to get the story out to the masses. Here's a rundown of the list:
March 18, 2007: Channel 9 opened their 5:00 p.m. broadcast in our store, discussing the beginning of the recall.

March 19, 2007: Channel 2 opened their 11:00 a.m. broadcast in our store, continuing the discussion of the recall. Greg Nieto handled the story. It has since dropped off their site.
March 20, 2007: Cover story on Denver Post, highlighting a woman who's cat was affected by tainted food. She was shopping for alternatives while her cat was being treated at her vet's office.

April 1, 2007: Fox 31 met us at the Berkeley Dog Park to celebrate April Stool's Day. This was on their 9:00 p.m. broadcast but didn't make it onto their website. The anchors were good sports and joked about our colored dog poop hunt in the park!
April 1, 2007: Channel 4 also showed up at the dog park for a story featuring the pet food recall. Again, this story didn't show up on their website. The coverage aired at 10:00 p.m.
April 1, 2007: A team from HD Net also joined us at the dog park to profile April Stool's Day. That story will air on "Deadline" on Friday. It should be a hoot!
April 3, 2007: Channel 4 visited our store for a story on pet food alternatives in the wake of the recall.

I have no doubt that this recall will continue to grow. It is my hope that the media will continue to take this as seriously as they have thus far and continue to alert the public everytime a recall is announced. Please feel free to use our store as a resource for advice and the most up-to-date information on the recall situation. We're always happy to help, no matter where you want to purchase your pet food!
